Start with carry more speed out of 15 and 7

1 & 8 are definitely "speed-slots"

I've never came close to nailing 14-15, that section had my number.

Sieg, just come on down and show us all how to drive T-Hill..... since Greg doesn't have a clue what he is doing on that track.

One problem.........never driven a car there! All my track experience is on bikes, I can't wait to see how 4 wheels changes perceptions. Braking point habits are my main concern two markers too late!..........catch ya on the next lap, unless it's turn 10.........see ya next year when it's fixed.

Carrying more speed out of 15 shouldn't and hopefully wont be a problem. Setting up for 1 after trying to sqeeze as much speed as possible going into 1 is a different story and I think my problem. I'm so concerned about getting a high speed off the long straight from 15 to 1 I'm failing to set up properly. Turn 8 is a whole nother animal. After coming out of seven its important to settle the chasis and use all of 8. Per past instruction I have been told to tap brakes to settle chassis in between 7 & 8 before driving through 8 and thats whats throwing me off because the point at which your supposed to tap brakes is a bit of a distance before you hit 8.
Wish me luck guys. I'm already my pants. Goal lap times this time around will be in the 2:02 range.

I go as fast as I possibly can -- when I spin -- Then I know I've gone faster than I should have....

So easy....

You're going to have to leave Sieggie alone -- he's a stay at home Dad now and needs his chores done before he can come out and play!

Trust me -- I was there.... When the wife is working... You'd better do as she says!

My issue with 14/15 on bikes is the seam in the surface (read curb) it was right at what I felt was the ideal apex and I could never find a shallow line that would generate drive out of 15, the deep line over the seam upset the chassis enough that you were wide on exit or feathering throttle trying to keep from going wide.

Entering 1 on the bike was keep it pinned past the tower and turn in to into the pit lane once past the pit lane wall stab the brakes and turn it in and get on the throttle.

If I'm not mistaken the key to a stable chassis going into 8 starts will nailing 6's apex/exit so you can pin 7 and pray through 8......

With the bike a slight lift to trailing throttle going into 8 was enough to maintain confidence. (does that bank look scarier in car than a bike, not sure which would be worse?) That corner is a rush when you get it close to right............so are 9 a & b pinning to toward the horizon, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, etc........what a great track!!

Don't worry G, you'll do fine, get used to the new stuff in the am then focus on having a good time maximizing your lines on the track..........not the infield.
