Bill, our 2nd Gen chassis is normally built that way. This customer wanted to try to retain as much of the original floor as possible and wasn't interested in a low stance. So we did a chassis for this car that basically ran back as an extension of the sub-frame. It will still be much stronger than a subframe and connectors, and more than enough for the intentions of this car.
