Default Tie Rod Questions....

I should know this but my mind is drawing a blank.....

I need to make some custom Tie Rod arms from our Project C-10

I am getting some heim joints, aluminum tie rod sleeves and some inner tie rods. Now will the sleeves be RH threads on one end and LH on the other? I am assuming so but wanted to get the right answer.

Second, how exact does the taper have to be on the tie rods to match up with the center link? The C-10 is a 11/16-18" thread on them and I can't find and raw aluminum tie rod sleeves that I can cut to the length that I need and the limited ones that are sold for that truck aren't long enough so I was thinking of getting inner tie rods that had 5/8 thread on them but I haven't found out what the exact degree of taper the C-10 tie rods are (have to run down to the store and buy a inner and out)

Third...Does anyone know where to get some different Adjustable Tie Rod Adapter studs to heim pins to go into the steering arm? The ones that Speedway Motors sells are a GM 7/16 stud with a 10 degree taper or the non tapered Pinto style. I don't really want to drill out my spindle for the adapter.

Thanks guy

Tim, sorry I don't know diddly squat about making tire rods, but all I do know is I want pics of the C10 and a build thread.
