Gaetano have been complaining that his rear sway bar is too soft and well the budget wasn't there for a fabricated adjustible type so we came up with a fairly cheap solution and using the existing bar.

I loved the Pozzi bar that was used on Bad PennyŽ so we looked around for different types of bar adjusters. I found an interesting set made for polaris quads. Called them up to see if they had any in SAE sizes. Nothing for a .875 bar. Then I remembered a j-bar mount is very similar...no bueno for anything under 1.750 bar. Poop.

So I drew these up on solidworks and sent a copy to Dennis @ Creations Unlimited. He made a few tweeks. Contured the body so we can go from .625in to a 1.250 in bar with the same program. We made a prototype to try out on Gaetanos car.

I'll see how they do this month. So far so good.

First off I just want to say thanks to Allen and Vince. Vince was squeezing time in betwen other projects to work on her as he had other cars he had to get out of the garage and we worked till about 9:00 p.m. on a few Friday and Saturday nights to gitter dun. It was a great time and I didn't want it to end.
I took her out for a ride today and the rear bar is definitley doing its job now. I'm going to have to adjust where it is currently set up at as I can feel the rear definitely wants to rotate now. Hoping to find an empty lot next week end to get a better idea of where it needs to be.
In addition to the sway bar we made a battery tray behind the passenger seat, placed a battery shut off switch near the passenger side window, made a rear tow hook, and changed the air filter set up.
Hopefully Vince and Allen will post some more pic's of the work and Vid's of a couple little burnouts.

10 sec is more than zero I guess.

Likin the mods you guys are doing over there.

Gaetano bring that dyno video flash drive to my house and you can grab that spoiler sitting in my garage next time you're passing nearby....
