Ron,

Thanks man, I read through your build thread a little bit ago (all 100 and sum pages) lol vey nice car. I wish I could take credit for the work on mine, I just don't have the space, time, tools, or experiance to do that kind of fab work. I just write Billy the check much easier that wayand done pretty good so far. I think it is headed in right direction to be a pretty nice car and fit in with some of the cars here.

Thanks
Chris

Yeah Chris, wheels and paint color are two of the hardest choices to make. Those two things there can make or break a car and you did excellent on the wheels.

Default Long time since last update!

Hey guys!
It's been awhile since I have had time to update with progress on my car but here it goes! Last time the cage was being built, well that is now complete along with the cross bar.

The rocker repair is now complete and the car weighs 30 lbs lighter after getting all the dirt etc out of rockers LOL. There are a few pics of the final welding of the tubs and the Q link install.

Then it was time for expoxy prime and lizard skin on the internal structure. Billy then fixed the L/H lower fender and the side mounting flanges on the lower valance. Final few pics are of the final stages of the down bars and cross braces, Qtr panel install, and then assembly to start fitting everything!

Billy is burning the midnight oil and hitting it hard to have it ready to go to to Joe & Paul VanNus at Dutchboys Hot Rod to get it all ready for paint and then make it colorful again! Well that is about it for now so here are the pics..

Chris I know you being modest about not doing the work your self but its probably tuffer to write a check.
Like ron said , love the cage work. Makes it easy to weld without the roof skin.
nothing like bare metal to Apreciate the work getting done. EXCELLENT !!!

Frank,
Thanks for the kind words, and your right it's tough just writing the checks! As far as the work being done I know what I am good at and like giving the credit to the guys who are making this project come to life. Right now my part is working overtime at to write the checks
I have learned alot watching this whole thing come together. And yes you have to love bare metal stage, but will love to see it in color!
