I do not know if you've thought about this, or what your plans might be, but you can convert the factory A/C from the valve system (POA I think) to an orifice tube and a cycling compressor fairly easily. I did it on the factory system in my '66 some years ago (long since sold). Worked like a charm.

Beautiful car... can't wait to see it finished!
