The FErd is in too Rob.
That 67 does sound pretty nice and that guy is obviously out there to wheel it.

Seems the Talladega driver is out there on a Sunday drive. I think he has a few $$ into that recreation. I'm actually betting it's a FElephantrd with a Boss 429 in it. It was a mixed bag that year what motor they ran.

Thanks for helping me distract everyone from complete fixation on the 67. That guy does deserve the attention for his driving efforts.

The nice thing is with the lines a '69 Torino/Talladega has, you don't have to be Rad Rides to build a very distracting example.

Yesterday at the track I mentioned to Dale "after watching this, and with your motor, I have a funny feeling your tire expenses are going up" or something to that effect.

Just to put it into perspective of how fast this car was... he was running a 1 min 24 sec lap time. The average time for the rest of the guys in the class was low 1:30's. The car had 15" wheels and 10-3/4" diameter disc brakes and he was running 155 mph down the front and back straight. Very impressive.

The driver was talking to a group of guys after the second race and said "you're not going fast when your hooked up, it's only when you feel like your driving on syrup that you know your going fast"

1:24 at PIR is hauling the mail. And all you have to do is watch him drift that thing off of turn 12, with the concrete coming up on the outside, then shifting while still tracking out without a bobble - that guy can drive.

That 67 sounds WICKED. The old boat is right where I'd expect it, the caboose.

Bummer he didn't make it........

A) No competition might as well head back to Canada eh?
B) Wife called "I want you now!"
C) Non-site repairable mechanical issues related to driving the piss out of it in qualifying.
D) Not enough purse money
