Here is an update from my son Justin

Pfadt Trailing Arms and Tie rods came in a few days ago. Man they look good in their raw form. looks very racey and mechanical.





We almost decided to keep them like that. But to keep with the theme, we started monkeying with them. I took a pic of them side by side, polished and brushed. We both agreed that we like the brushed look better.



Here is a pic of the new custom flex-a-lite radiator with our custom fan shroud mounted on it.



the first fan shroud we made had some incorrect measurements. Made another one, and measurements were still wrong .... As the saying goes, third times a charm, and thus the third shroud finally fits perfectly. On Monday I'll get the fan mounts welded to the shroud, and call it done for now. we need to test fit it in the engine bay to make a bracket for the rad to mount to. Once that's done, we'll powder-coat the shroud.

Car is back on the ground as it's going to a fab shop for a full cage and some other work.





The original bumper was sacrifice as template in order to make a ZL1 carbon fiber diffuser. The black replacement looks kinda cool with against the white and carbon.



Many of the bolts are going to get drilled for safety wire.




I have got to say that this thing looks pretty sinister for a 5th Gen

Ordered the brakes yesterday. They are StopTech's Trophy series which are 20% that their next level up.



The track wheels will be 19 (factory are 20) Should filled the wheels pretty good.

Very well said and I couldn't agree more. After building the truck and realizing that driving it would not be smart. I new I wanted something different this time around. And you car sir fits the bill perfectly. It is flat out awesome !!!!

I also has to give props to Cris from JCG! He took 3 hours of his time Saturday morning to the boys and I come by. He reviewed the progress of the project and what still needs to get done to complete it by SEMA. He gave the boys realistic advice and gave them a game plan. In addition, he is going to help them with some custom pieces to take the project to the next level. Some of the stuff will cross pollinate with first gen, so stay tuned.

The attention to detail of what Cris does is just at another level. Check out this neat replacement check valve for the master. It replaced the ugly plastic piece with this piece of functional art! He will also be doing a billet replacement reservoir tank for the master with a built in separate reservoir for the trans.



The amount of engineering that went just into this little piece is amazing.

Chris is one of the Nice guys in this industry. He loves what he does and is more then happy to help others. Heck I called him and asked him if I could borrow his wheel tool that Mario had and without even taking a second to think about it he said sure no problem. Chris only knows me from this board and yes I have bought a few things from him. But to lend a $2500.00 tool to a stranger from Chicago say's a lot about his character.

I look forward to all of the post from JCG on this BB & on Facebook. He does some outstanding work and the best part he finishes his customer cars and doesn't break their bank.

ps looks like I am going to be ordering up this check valve for my car.
