The project switched to 345's so I had to make a few adjustments. Also we decided to remove the rear cross member completely build a better one.

I counted 9 factory spot welds that didn't penetrate to second layer of 16g. Bye Bye

Tire is sitting better now.

The DSE tub will get a 3" stretch and tilt in wards at the top.

Vince how come the stretch? How wide are those 345's? I know my BFG 335's where 13.5" wide which was wider then the 345's that Mario had? Is it just to have more room if needed?

Funny how the factory can make mistakes even today but when we fix them and they are a millimeter of people go nuts

Great work as aways!!

Thanks Rick, I always put in more room than what is needed.
My very first mini tub looked like it had plenty of room but the tire rubbed as my customer pulled into his driveway. Not happy with it, I had to redo it. I learned my lesson.
Just that extra 1/4" up top between 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock can make a huge difference.

70's standards were lax to say the least.

Default How much clearance ?

Just curious how much room you recommend leaving from the tire to the fender lip and from the tire to the inner tub? With the DSE quadra link like this. Love this build. Thanks

Thank you for your interest,
It really depends on the rear suspension system and tire profile you have.

On this particular car we will have it around 1/2" to the outer well. The DSE pan hardbar, 4 link along with the 19" rims and 30 series tires hold pretty well. Inner space will be anywhere from 1 3/4" to 2" depending on how creative we get.

Guessing is fun and I wanna play, but I looked back and I am missing a couple things.
