Default Alternator output vs drag/power use.

Say Your car needs 55 ampere when driving.

Will a 60Amp alternator "drag" more (harder to turn) than an 100Amp alternator at the same required output?

The small one will be at max load while the bigger one can just "take it easy" and put it out without straining. Or is the drag the same, the big one just have a possibility to drag even more?

Or is it just simple mathematics? Like P=U*I?

The small may get hotter and such, but if we look away from those Things? Or will it even make the same heat? Since Power output is actually the same?

And say both are the same type, like both an 10si or 12si.

I just came to think about this when I drove my car today.

Any suggestions?
