I don't have any LS experience and little cam experience......hopefully someone with first hand info will chime in.

They're all streetable it really depends on the individual's driving style, trans, gearing, and typical vehicle usage IMO.

The wide rpm range tells me it should work well on the street.......and rev! But I'd really like to see a dyno chart to see what the torque and hp curves look like to better understand the cams drivability.

Those ranges are an arbitrary measurement anyway so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Maybe I should not answer since I have no experience With LS, but anything over [email protected] I would think would be not very streetable (low end torque), but it really Depends on the rest of the engine, trans and rear end.

But People are different and may think something else than me, I looked over comps LS line of cams, and all seem to have much more Exhaust duration?

I think this cam would not be pulling very much before maybe 3000RPM, especially in an under 400cid motor.

But maybe the LS motors can get away With much more cam because of the good flow and long intakes and such.

This one I would say is maximum for street use in a good engine but still "fun", but I just used 5 minutes "researching" this...

On a non-race car it is Nice to have the Power whenever you want it, just stomp on the pedal and there it is, dont have to wait for it

Like I mentioned..............dyno charts.

My Edelbrock 5002 grind is 2,500-6,500.........marketing is accurate IMO........but that's from marketing 25 years ago.

Pretty much! On an LS1/6 this cam will be dead down low ie under 3000 rpms and there are other factors involved that affect power band other than the cam. IMO, there's way too much overlap for a street car with this cam. However, everyone has mentioned how subjective streetable is and that's very true. You have to look at the total drive train and you're driving style. So what's the rest of the drive train look like on your car? What do you want power wise? I'm not referring to just the amount of power but where you want your power. What other engine mods, if any, do you have currently?

This was ground on Comp's XER lobe grind but they have changed their grind names so I'm not sure what new name corresponds. To me, this cam worked great on a stock LS1/6 with simply headers, exhaust, and normal gearing(ie mid to low 3.0s) but also would only get better with more mods like heads and intake. It was a simple off the shelf grind that works well for a street car. Nothing fancy or exotic. It just worked.

This cam is in a new LS3 with 11:5:1 comp. Diamond pistons,Callies crank 4" stroke Callies rods, heads milled and valve job. Fast FI intake.

See, now the cam doesn't seem so bad. You're what 413 cu in now? That's a lot different than an LS1/6. You're actually on the small side for an engine this large. It will perform well, have good torque, a broad power band that starts low, and it'll be leaving a lot left on the table. Go bigger.
