Default 65 Chevelle Rear Disk Conversion Install Question

I'm to the point where I bolt the caliper bracket and backing plate to the axle.

If I bolt the caliper bracket to the axle housing, the bolt heads get I the way of the backing plate.

If I try to bolt the backing plate to the axle, no holes line up.

In the pics, I've temporarily bolted the caliper bracket to the axle housing to illustrate how the backing plate will not sit flat against the caliper bracket.

Please advise this dingleberry how it's done.

Default Got it.

Eureka! Tobin sent me a email with a pdf with instructions months ago and I forgot about it.

The backing plate has stand-off bolts spacing it off the caliper bracket. Now it all makes sense. Yay!

Roger, glad you got it sorted out, however please don't hesitate to call or email us if you have any additional questions.
