Default Wheel Pad height question

Guys got a little dilema looking at some weld rts wheels(18x8 and 18x12) and was wondering about the pad height,i've got stock disc brakes on the car now (69 camaro btw)and eventually want to run some bigger brakes but wondering what pad height to go with, it has 15in rallies on it now,as im typing this like a big dummy i think it makes since just to go ahead with the tall pad height then i can change brakes later on,I think i just answered my on question but if any one wants to chime in? THANKS!

If you want the option for larger brakes down the road, buy the wheels that will clear them now so you can...or be prepared to buy new wheels and possibly tires when it's time to do brakes. If you don't know what brakes you might go with, plan on the biggest currently available and then you know you'll be safe, at least until something bigger comes out.
