We have been very busy with Tim's 64 over the past few months. Here is the picture recap of what we have been up to.

Finished up all of the metal work on the nose of the car for now. Headlights and grille still to come.

Trans and driveshaft tunnel for the 6L90

Wanted to try something different than the standard smooth or bead rolled look for the firewall so we fabbed this up.

Removed the stock piece that looked like it was blasted with a shot gun

And welded i the new panel.

Here is a look into the engine compartment and how it was built.

Rough mock up and initial panel fabrication.

Close out panels around the radiator

Added some indentations around the mounting hardware and the new hood latches.

The completion of phase 1 of the inner fender...

We also decided to smooth and simplify the windshield cowl panel for a cleaner look:

One detail that seemed to scream out to us from day one when we got the car was the awkward intersect of the forward corner for the door, cowl and fender.

A few tape lines later and we had a plan to bring it all together a little more elegantly...

Looks like it should have been this way in the first place...
