Here an after thought when I was mounting the battery.. We are arunning a 17 lbs Braille Battery tucked underneth the dash.. So I had to figure a way to jump start the car or put a trickle charger.. We machined a brass bung to mount to the side of the block for ground that was close to our power source in the engine bay.. I am sure we could have done something better.. but weight is a big factor on this car.. didn't want to run cable all over the place..

Wow Cris that actually a great idea! I'm sure you save a bunch of weight not have to run the cable all the way from the trunk. Thanks for posting the pics. I have learn so much just by studying your poctures.

Unreal build - can't wait to see finished pictures.

Maybe toss one of these decals on there to really rub it in for the purists:

How can anyone not like this? I'm just saying. Well anyway, the car is sick to me. Way to go Cris.

Sick Build!! I can appreciate seeing a guy or gal build a car that suits their own personal wishes and goals. I have seen more than my fair share of people stashing their cars away or turning them into perfect masterpieces that they are scared to drive. Atleast this one is doing its intended purpose, moving!!

Keep up the great work!!

Wow this thing is awesome Cris. I've wanted one of these for a long time and you are not making it any easier!

The combination with this car showcases all of the strengths of the Detroit big 3.

Dodge/Mopar's gorgeous styling and wild color choices.
Chevrolet's engine platform. UNDENIABLY the leader of performance.
Ford's rock solid, ingenious rear end design.

This car is so cool. My only complaint is that it didn't end up sublime, but it's awesome in plum crazy. You will draw a crowd at LS Fest for sure!
