Jimi had stated previously (yesterday) that E85 was OK.

He had also posted that specific "judgement calls" about individual cars (i.e. Pappy's car or when is a kit not a kit) would be dealt with individually essentially upon request.

I think that they have done a really good job in putting together a pretty broad rule set that doesn't specifically eliminate anybody from participating and having a great time regardless of what they drive.

What about a production vehicle that has a "lost" vin tag but has gone through a state inspection to verify the title and frame serial number and was subsequently issued a state-affixed replacement vin tag? The car in this scenario is not a kit car or reproduction, but rather a production vehicle with a "Government" (state) issued ID tag rather than OE affixed.

Thanks

My car started life as a European Delivery Vehicle and as Such does not have a Windshield VIN Plate, but is a Production vehicle with a Hard to find VIN Number

Pappy, we would allow this vehicle to participate.

If the vehicle is not a kit car and it was not built specifically for competition; if it is street legal, licensed, registered and insured we would most likely include it for participation.

^ and straight from the director's mouth.

After reading the rules, I think the intent is clear. No purpose built race cars and most every other street car is up for review. This series survives on participation, not exclusion.

I think you guys did a great job Jimmy

Why not get a third car as a back up the qualifies for the series?

The ways it's been going that might be good insurance.
