There was a few issues with that car (ever check out the floor near the gas pedal ?) and it must have been ungodly loud for any cruising, but I still have the centerfold spread on my shop wall. Such an awesome design with a lot of new and innovative touches especially at the time. That car probably moved me as much as anything I'd seen before or since. Usually when a car is chopped and stretched that much, especially an icon, the end result is not as envisioned, but that is one car that actually looked better than its rendering.
It may have disappeared from the national / forum scene but It is still cruised regularly on Long Island.

Default G-Force Cuda

Neil Lea .at Rods&Restos actually designed the suspension layout for the C5 control arms... Alan did a hell of a build ! Seeing the car during build was impressive, shame it never attained the goals Bob set for the car,,,

I'm guessing Charley would never even hint at what he paid for the Mule originally......

Doug modified the cuda?

I would love to see pics. Sema 2003, maybe 2004, was a huge highlight for me! I looked at that Cuda for hours. Beautiful craftsmanship!

Too bad I didn't see this post before this morning -- I sat last night with Bob Johnson and Johnson's (different Johnson) Hot Rod shop... I would have asked them for you.

I love that they display the monthly payment. - - - I'm guessing the new buyer will not be going with the finance plan!
