How do you plan to attach the hood hinges? Will that trim strip around the rear window hold it??

LOL.............I'm waiting for somebody to come over and help put the hood on............I just finished detailing the hinges today so I will put them and the Hood on tomorrow...........I have my fingers crossed that it will clear the engine......gonna be real close........if not there will be a cowl hood here next week.............

Cowl hood would be badazz on that car...


I always wadded up a little pile of clay and put that on the high point - then gently close the offending piece -- see how much it squishes.... beats poking a
dimple divit in the hood.

Those wheels are nice, I wonder how that color combo would look on my white SS.......?

Glad that hood is back on there! That's a great feeling.


By the way -- I've used my lift many times to remove or reinstall hoods. You have to use some straps -- and be real careful -- but you can get in "one man" if you set it up right. Three guys is way easier though!!!
