Default Holley HP PMW Cooling Fan Control

Ok so I was reading on another post on here using the E67 for PWM fan control and the Vette #15-80803 controller and it got me thinking.

I am installing the Holley HP efi on a customer vehicle with a boosted LS7, and it has a single cooling fan.

Checking the outputs I am able to set up a -(low) PWM set to a fixed frequency or 128Hz. I set up a table using MAP and CTS for the x and y axis and table units with duty cycle so that the fan could ramp up for both temp and boost pressure.

Input triggers set at:
RPM activate above 450 (so will only come on with engine running)
Temp activate above 170 (so fan starts at 25% and will ramp up to 95% by 195)
VSS deactivate above 60 MPH

Any thoughts? I have not installed or attempted yet but appears it should work?

Lots of views and no comments ? Has anyone done this with any other PCM other than OEM? Willing to try was just hoping for some encouragement.

Yes, that works, but he is specifically asking about the PWM functionality to run the fans at slower speeds. I have an HP EFI installed, but did not try to use that functionality. I would love to get more information on doing this also...

I had a spal pwmv3 or whatever before I got my efi and that thing worked good when it worked, but half the time it defaulted to fact and would lose programing and I didn't like it at all.

another option in place of the gm controller:

anyone have experience with these?

might need to 2 wired in parallel to handle the amps.

Also not sure what Hz to operate them at.

I emailed holley a few weeks back on this same issue with a f5 controller. They pretty much said run it by itself, It is a pwm type controller. I believe if you try to run it the way you are wanting to you need to use two relays. I think they can be triggered. Let me know what you come up with.
