Default IL15 starts testing

The new indy lights car is draft designed and the model is in the wind tunnel for testing. Everything is printed in miniature scale on an SLA printer (except for front and rear wings which are alum) The wheels are machined from alum and the 'tires' are actually carbon fiber with anti-skid painted on for tread.

The first prototype should be here in indy in June !

Can't wait to start building molds and parts !

Fresh off the truck ! Well, it took a while to wire and calibrate, but that's the fun part right .... You can print in many different materials, ABS, PLA, Nylon, Carbon, etc.

I bought it to make molds direct from a cad file, skipping the cnc master step and costs. Or, you can print a plug mold outta water/solvent soluble material, make the part over the outside (like an air intake tube) then flush away the plug material.
