Finally got the wheels on the car. Sometimes we just need to put on shiny parts because they help motivate us to get things done.

18x11s all the way around. I will need to consult Ron's comprehensive tire spreadsheet to select the best overall tire for my application, but right now it has a set of old Falken 315 mounted up and it looks pretty good. I thought they might look a bit cartoonish on the small car, but the sides of the body hide them pretty well. The rear needs to come down a bit..

Or just put a giant fan at the rear bumper and sit in the drivers seat so you can feel the wind blowing through your hair.

ps -the car looks incredible !!!

I'm one of the pickiest critics of vintage mustang hot rod styling there is and I give you the big thumbs up. Really innovative the way you overbuilt the character line to increase width, and having the front fender vent integrated works really well. Surprised it will swallow an 11" wheel. The valence looks good too I think I mentioned it earlier but I hate the standard valences that leave a giant hole in the middle of them with no horizontal surface where the bumper goes.

Mini-lite style wheels always look good. So did Newgen do the nickel brush finish? When I talked to Forgeline last year they said it was too problematic and quit doing it, but it is one of my favorite finishes, too bad its not in my budget.
