Group buys are based on the number of people that decided to do it. I was in the first group purchase back in 2009.. The original discount was based on at least 10 people, but if it increased to 25 people then you get an extra discount. Anyway, at that time the group purchase was good discount. Yep, group buys often require patience, especially when the item costs more just a couple bucks!

Well, upon visiting their site I see they have added some new "must-haves" to the line so my initial expected expenditure has gone up about 40%! No rush, I'll wait for another group buy! lol
