Default New Paint care?

My 69' is freshly painted, I have driven it now a few times. Today especially, it was 55 out, which for around here feels like 80, so I had to take her out for a bit. The roads were dry, except those random streams across the road where the snows melting across. Anywayyyy, behind the wheels it got some dirt and water, I cleaned it up as soon as I got home with soft lint free rags. But what is the best way to clean and treat new paint, even under the cover in the garage, it gets dusty, and the lower parts of the car, rockers, behind the wheels, have had their share of minor dust from the roads. This summer before shows start, what is the best way to clean it up. I dont want to "wash" it, but just curious.

That might have made no sense now that I look at it, but hey...I was stopped taking pictures of the car today...3 people pulled over to talk to me about, so it was worth a little dirt!

Anyway..How do you guys clean the car.

Tim
