AAA and your cell phone.... and a credit card. I have the GOLD AAA card which will then include towing your "RV" (They didn't ask to see mine).
I drove my '67 Vette BBC tri-power car from Seattle to Bloomington (Springfield) Indiana - via Jackson Hole and then up to Mt Rushmore. The alternator gave up on it 8 miles from "the corn palace town" in Mitchell So Dakota.... I just kept driving - and the chevy dealer there fixed it while Alex (who was 10 at the time) and I had some lunch.
You'll always find someone that will help you...
