Webster's Dictionary: Mark Steilow

Now that I've been around this game for years, spent the money, and walked the line. He is the target for what I see as the definition of a pro touring car.

If I built another, it would be along those lines as a real driver. Otherwise, it would be a race car for me. Trying to achieve his level of performance with inferior parts and technology can lead to a rowdy and unreliable street car. One that isn't a stand out in either arena. Street or Track

Just my opinion...ha ha

lol Too funny Ron.
I see a lot of ads that state "pro-touring" and then you run down the list of parts and look at the car and just laugh. Nope,.....not even close.

I always thought Pro-Touring were race cars with real expensive wheels and even more expensive paint - and custom interiors -- so much so - that now it just becomes a show car.... lest said paint and wheels and interior get "ruined" by actual driving.

Just googled 24 inch rims and found this, It needs some stainless nerf bars to finish it up.

Not mine.

Okay paint; killer suspension once I get it tuned; cheap interior (other than seats - Recaro Ergomeds) - basically a back seat delete to accommodate the 3 link; built to be driven long - but I do have pricey wheels.

It's easy to be fooled by the builds that are on these boards into thinking they are the norm.
