Default off set bars

I have the offset bars but what I am seeing is that they are offset but when going towards the housing they move back out toward the tire which feels like it is defeating the purpose of the offset....

Shouldnt they be perfectly Parallel and not have an angle from the front leaf pocket to the rear end housing?

Well not yet

The only thing I can think of is that the brackets are not on the axel correctly
