How are you supposed to fix this? Not much meat left after you move the flare forward enough to compensate for the problem. Payton said it would look funny (or maybe it was an expletive) and I agree.

Add to the rear of the fender to move the wheel opening forward or better yet, increase its size by 1/2-3/4".

Remove the tulips extend the cowl and mount the masters under the dash.

With the extra room you can now move the engine back farther and you could 1 piece the hood and 1/2 cowl vent cover.

Now you have room for under hood heat extraction, oil tanks, multiple coolers and electronics.

Yea, I have thought about all of that stuff...going to move the clip back and keep the wheel base where it should be. Fender are going to be custom regardless of the wheel base.

Going cut out cage from main hoop forward and put it where it should be, not in my line of sight. Down bars are out too far and come in contact with front tires and the kicker bar keeps me from mounting my pedal box. Funny as I sent my pedal box to him before he started the frame, much less the cage, for him to mount.

that sucks but you'll get it right. That's the problem being so far away from your project.

I wish that was all of the problems, still more to come I have not posted about.

You are right, project was too far away. Now it is about 15 minutes from my house.

I am truly sorry to hear this Payton. I hope Jake steps up and helps cover the repair cost. That was Amateur hour!

Sorry to hear that Payton. Car photographs well nonetheless! I had a JRS front clip and had only some minor issues with the product. But - it took for friggin ever to get. And then came in a number of shipments. I had strongly considered using his torque arm but the experience turned me off big time. I ended up selling the clip and changing direction completely. While you've got some significant issues to resolve, in the right hands this thing is still going to be BA! Looking forward to the corrections and progress!

It may be crooked, too long, etc. etc., but every time I see the pics of that car, I say to myself, wow that is cool as hell. I know we all have different taste in cars, but a full frame, down in the weeds is hard to beat.

This is your chance to make it better then it was before, faster, stronger. If I could make the six million dollar man eye noises come out of the computer it would be awesome. All kidding aside, when its done, as low and wide as thing is, this thing will be up there as one of the best Camaro builds of all time. Stay the course and gitter done.
