Vince I dig the electrics, but only issue with them is they draw power so if the bat disconnects or charge drops, they do not work too well.
I would go with a line lock hydro type than electrical for the reason above. I have run them on rock crawlers and they are fairly simple, and you can go as fancy as you like with cutting brakes, swage locks, etc.
Anthony, from your text, basically they run about $30 bucks and up, to operate:
1- just push your regular foot brake pedal (to clarify not e-brake pedal), and hold.
2- press button on line lock (if electric) or turn handle
3- release foot brake.
4 - you are now locked
