Cool

Cool race, but I grew up at the foot of Pikes Peak and it was a better event when it was dirt.

The Unsers owned that hill for many years, they were very popular.

Factory "works" teams from around the world sent some exotic stuff up there.

I had the opportunity to race a bike in the open class one year, and got smoked bad! .....it take guts to go fast up there.

yep, used to tie up and to hold up them giant brass balls from touching the ground
