It's a tough one, no doubt....but the good part of this story (for me anyways...not to mention Curtis' new version of the car will be better) is that all of these parts, except the interior, will find their way under my all original, down to the paint, one owner 68 RS. So a new SS/RS will be born!! . Also remember this car is not an original Big Block SS/RS, just a very well built clone.

Not to worry Steve! Like Brent said this will bring one car out of "Pro Storage" and get it back on the road. Brent and I talked and agreed that it's to bad his is a 68 and mine is a 67...had they been the same years there would have been some horse trading happening. LoL
While not final, there has been a lot of interest in my 67's interior being sold as a "Package deal". One guy even sent photo's of the car he's working on and it's going to be sweet! So that's one more that will be back up and on the road.
Not bad if you ask me.

I understand, its just that cars that are built getting torn apart, and I've been building my car since Steilow started the Red Witch, and it's still not done, but I'll be watching since I cant work on my car,

Yeah...I hear ya. Sadly it's getting harder and harder to find a clean car to start a build with. To bad you're on the other side of the country. I could use some help! Keep at your project. Just a little every day.

Steve,
I have torn my 68' Camaro apart and rebuilt it differently 3 times now!
Always "improving it" ( well, at least what is in my budget to do!)
Yes, and each time, I had to deal with the naysayers that were giving me crap about pulling my 427 bbc/700R4 (69' Vette engine) and building my modified LS2 w/ T56
The worst, was the first time it went from a stock restoration of a SS350 car to the start of a "pro-touring" car, the guys on Team Camaro weren't pleased!
And this all with building other peoples cars in between and making changes
These cars change with the times, just as their owners do
Yes, Curtis is starting with a great platform, but it currently does not fit "him" and his application
All of the current parts are going to find great people/ cars to go to and Curtis will be happy with his 67' that will be built to suit his needs and more importantly his budget!
Jeff
