So, yeah, living in California, while rare these things are scary.
At 3:20 am this morning my house was creakin and a swayin, bout 20 seconds long. Quite a bit of damage in Napa, not major, but a lot of closures. Bout 70 people being treated right now for minor injuries. (Via ABC7 KGO news)
And this just in, No damage to the Sonoma Raceway, the indy race will procede today. Highway 37 is closed as of now.......
Went outside after, the water in my pool was moving quite aggressively, pretty interesting to watch, it was like the aftermath of 20 people jumped in doing cannonballs, but no people.
Hope everyone is ok out that way. I know 6.0 isn't "big" but I'm not ok with the ground shaking on its own at all so I'd be crapping my pants personally.

I Just heard that highway 37 is reopened. For those of you who don't know, that is pretty much the only "major" road/highway to get in and out of the raceway.
For some reason I always wake up at 3:05, starting to fall asleep then it hit . Seemed like is lasted for ever. Heavy jolt then gental rolling sensation.
First instinct was to hit the wife and I ran to the kids room just incase is got stronger. Neighbors chimney is close to the kids room.
It's funny, Allen and I were talking about being due for one while watching the news about recent volcanic activity. Last big one in our region was 89?
I have to ask if either of you guys have a guinite pool? Here in N. Georgia, the soil is a clay like substance, and my pool builder recommended that we not go with the guinite pool, because we occasionally get a small tremor, which he said would crack a guinite pool. Just wondering, and glad to hear you guys are ok.
