Default TCI torque arm 69 camaro convertible

Putting one in a 69 convertible (has mini tub) and am having trouble getting a location for upper shock bar. Directions say to locate with 2 existing holes on rear frame rails but there aren't any. Wondering if anybody has installed one that could answer where the 2 holes are. I got a call in today but they closed at 12 so it will be Monday before I get answer and I would like to get it done tomorrow.

Not sure how different but my 68 Nova used a measurement from the brace that is running across from inner frame rail to inner frame rail forward of the rearend back to the location for the mount. Seems like there were three different options/measurements listed on my instructions depending on exactly what year/model you have.

It listed a measurement of 13.187 inches but that was listed on paragraph for 67 and 68/69 is located by 2 existing holes.

The coil-over cross-member is next. Remove any hanger brackets that will interfere.
On the 1967 Camaro, the cross-member is installed up flush with the rear frame rails and measured 13 3/16 inches from the flat vertical body panel to the front edge of the cross-member. The ends of the cross-member are angled in at the front.
The 1968-69 Camaro coil-over cross-member is located by the two existing 3/8 x 16 threaded holes in the frame rail. Using the four 3/8 x 16 x 1 inch bolts, fasten the front flange of the cross-member to the frame and push the saddle of the cross-member flush before tightening.
With the channel bracket pressed flush against the frame rail, use a 3/8 drill bit and drill the two outside holes in each frame rail using the holes in the channel bracket as a guide.
Using the drill bushing guide over the previously drilled hole, clamped the guide to the bracket, drill horizontally through the other side of the frame and through the hole in the bracket.
Finish by installing the four 3/8 x 16 x 3 inch bolts, washers and Nylock nuts and tighten.

Talked to TCI about measurement and since I have mini tub, upper coil over bracket needs to be installed 13.187 from flat on floor board/back of seat brace where old muffler hangers used to be. So I'll finish my frame closeouts and measure for brace and get this thing installed. Seems they updated the bracket but not the directions.

Great! Glad you got it resolved. Been very happy with my T/A setup from them.

Thanks Jeff. This thing is a work of art. I can't wait to see how it handles but that's a ways down the road. Getting it mocked up then powder coated and then the car goes on rotisserie for a couple of weeks.
