Didn't the 2006 Mitsubishi Evo RS (Brandon Ranvek) blow it's motor on the road course? The way I understood it was that if you didn't finish the entire event, you did place. Soooo....what's up with that?

The competitors had to complete five timed laps to have a "finish" in that category. One of the competitors had less than this but had to go to the hospital due to not feeling well, so he was not awarded points for that event.

I don't know if there is a disqualification clause due to breakage.

Fair enough. Didn't hear about the hospital deal. Hope it went easy for him.

I had heard they were making on-the-fly rules changes and allowing the single lap to count for participation.
