You could probably sell The gen 1 kit to someone pretty easy like over at camaros.net. I had a gen 1 and converted to gen IV when they came out a few years ago. Besides the controller difference (which I thought was kinda of a PIA), the fan output was better. With the gen iv, you can convert your stock controls over or change to a 3 knob or the DD VHX one. I have the 3 knob one and like it a lot.
Another thing to think about with the gen iv, is you can route your hoses differently (cleans it up). I have mine routed through the old blower motor hole and the pass side kick panel.

I have one on backorder with Classic Industries. Called them last week to see how much longer it would be and they said they were in the process of trying to find someone to reproduce it! So my question is WHY DO YOU HAVE IT IN YOUR CATALOG? Makes no sense.
My original controller is still good and worked when I pulled the car apart. Not the prettiest but I plan to reuse it for now.
