this guy I used to work with is trying to argue with me that its just a Mistubishi Lancer drivetrain...

yea because Evo's have that much torque and sequential transmissions

They are using a Sadev awd trans and front diff. The interesting thing is that the strongest trans Sadev makes is rated for about 500 or so lb/ft but there is no way that motor is making anything less than 650 or so.
