Michael, I think this bracket I fabbed up this morning will allow you weld it to the frt of the crossmember and move it back enough to catch the holes in the trans mount tab's. Sorry that you had a hick up. I've never had a 4L60E here for fit. I will start building the trans tabs about 4" longer.I will ship this out ASAP Monday morning.

Scott .... that's perdy! I do appreciate the support and sorry to be different!
Thanks for the support, the bracket should work just fine, it's better than anything I could have come up with
Thanks Scott. Just trying to think like you fabricators do, but that's a much easier way to do it. Nice solution.
Wayne,Your Idea was my first Idea. Then I slept on it and came up w/Plan-B !!!!!! And Plan-B was more work for me,but less work for Michael. And going the extra mile for a customer is alway's the best route !!!!!!!! (Sometime's)
A good day in the garage, it was in the 50's and I had to get something done on the Camaro .... so I finished removal of the spring perches, mocked up the RT weld-on lower brackets, fabbed some 3/16 strap to simulate the shock height at 14.5", and fitted Scott's fix to my tranny mount issue.
Need to recheck the angle of the lower brackets and the side2side center and tack the brackets and tack the tranny adapter in place ... then take it to work and use the BIG welder again.
Got the perch off and ..... YES that is BONDO! WTF? Mock straps and set width. Ride Tech setup is sweet! Clamped on Scott's adapter to the crossbrace. View from bottom ... Scott's welds are beautiful! That's why I went w weld on brackets .... an extra inch per side!
Was gonna get the subframe connectors in, but a slight engineering fault (my bad) ... the side plates I welded on are too long and I can't get the connector up in the car and slide past the cross member brace. So I have to pull the front end out and then put the connectors in and then slide the subframe back and line it up w the connectors .....
