Man and I thought it was a nice car when you first got it. Looks like not much will be left of the first rendition when your done. Looking forward to the transformation.

[QUOTE=cjfirstgen;572681]I changed my project name....sounds much better and certainly appropriate IMHO. Never really like "Flux"..."Twice Baked" seems more fitting since this is the second major rebuild of this car in 7 years.

Moderators...can you change the name of the thread as well?? Hopefully that is allowed. Thanks in advance.

Name changed & you're welcome!

Nice update! Looks great!

New to market 105mm Accufab throttle body LS style to feed the reworked 572 and new AFR heads (in progress). Should be able to hit our target of 850hp on pump gas.

Progress has been slow lately but things are picking up now. A bit more metal work to complete.

Having the big bearing 9" rear diff converted to a floater with the Strange Pro Touring Floater kit. Anyone have experience with this kit? Also having the a Strange Pro HD Aluminum Center section installed. The standard 550hp rated iron case and 825hp is no bueno. Changing from 31 spline axles to 35 spline as well. Will have the 31 spline Moser axles available for a 1st gen mini tub car if someone is looking for a set.

Decided to go with a Strange 35 spline S-track. Have read good things. Anyone running one? Also having REM treatment done to the gears, bearings and chrome moly yoke. Never heard of the process before. The benefits of taking the differential to one of the best race car builders in the country.

Some of their work in the pic.
