Default custom wheel clearcoat

Need your input on some wheels. What is you'll s opinion on the acceptable amount of fish eye in the clear coat finish of custom wheels? or should there be any at all.I have a friend who has a set of wheels and asked him about his he says he has no fish eye in his clear coat at all.Would like your input before i contact the wheel manufacturer.

I wouldn't except any fish eyes in the wheels. They were not cleaned properly before clearcoat was applied.

JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE THAT I WASN'T BEING UNREASONABLE BEFORE I CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER.i WOULD EXPECT IT FROM A CHEAP OF THE SHELF WHEEL BUT NOT CUSTOM BUILT WHEEL.I UNDERSTAND THAT FISH EYES IN PAINT FINISH IS UNACCEPTABLE.

As the owner of custom, 3-piece wheels and for what we pay for them, there shouldn't be any in the wheels. Now, I understand that mistakes may happen if there's like...what...one, single speck in the whole set of 4 wheels. But, if there is any in the wheels, which it shouldn't be, a company should be more than willing to fix the issue being that they should have never left their facility with trash in the clear coat in the first place. I mean, where's their quality control in the product they sell.

Default Clear coat

I actually purchased some wheels from Boze last year. And right before they were supposed to be sent to me I got a call from them and they said on two wheels the clearcoat had some fish eyes and they were going to redo them and wanted to know if I just wanted the other two wheels or send them all four together , and I really appreciated them checking that closely. When I received all four wheels the clearcoat was as close to I can say perfect there definitely was no fisheye at all ,after reading this thread I went to really look at the wheels on all three of my cars and none of them have fisheye on them. I'm sure whoever the manufacturer is when ever you contact them if their name is on the wheel they will be wanting to get them back from you and wondering how they were able to leave their facility with the fisheyes on them I'm sure they will make it right and do it in a timely manner knowing that you've already had them you're going to want to get them back as quick as possible but you also want to have them right ,I'm sure they're gonna want to make their product the best it can be
