Default going from non tilt to tilt column

I have had a few questions in the past about the ignition switch on 69 up non tilt columns going to tilt columns, here is the layout

on the first pic is a typical non tilt column from a 69 gm car, the black plug is towards the top of the column and the blue plug is at the bottom of the column.

as you can see I had to break off one small tab on the blue plug, this may not be the case everytime, I was just using a pair of cutoff plugs for reference.

going to the tilt column you will see the plugs are reversed and the other way around, just hold both plugs in your had and rotate them around and they will plug in, in some cases you may or may not have to break off a tab on the blue plug
