The hood is a VFN fiberglass hood. Our Camaro's need to vent the air out somewhere. I wanted to vent it more on the sides, but the shape of the hood and vents available did not allow me to.

Bob,

I take a hit in points for no roll up windows. I still squeeked out the win in Portland with the deduction. This year is a bit steeper deduction, 3 pts for no windows and 3 for not being able to seal up the interior.

I run wipers, stereo, horn, lights... everything else needed

Default 73 Camero

Thanks for the info Brian
I will take the hit in points as I am more
interested in losing some weight on the car
It was 3710lbs two years ago with no stereo, wipers
or horn.. I think I will do a horn but that is it
I have mono springs out back -70lbs, removed door glass
and operators ??? lexan rear window??
going to do the door bars, glass hood and front bumper which
alone is -60lbs by itself on Bird

I am in this for the fun and trying to get close

Bob

I just ordered door glass for the car, so that is going in next.

Hi Brian,

50.4% left side weight & 49.6% right side weight is pretty dang close to 50/50. Sweet !

We achieve that 50/50 L/R balance in scratch built race cars because we can put stuff where ever. But that's often hard to do in production based cars. Good job.

I'll see you at T-hill.

Thanks Ron. We could have got it closer, but we figured the fluctuation in fuel level at this point put us dead on. That is with about 3/4 tank. We run full as much as possible on the autocross. Full gets it even closer.

I also need to loose about 8 lbs.
