It was a lot of fun, but after 1150 miles I was beat! I am for sure. Excited and Nervous. Probably normal.

Felt like Pioneer Touring. I can't imagine blazing that trail and building the road.

Scenic route for sure, one that I would like to do again....without a trailer.

Glad you two made it safely. Definitely would have been better without the trailer, but you got it there, safe and sound.
Looking forward to the updates.

Good News/Bad News.

The Good News: After 5 months of storage the car is finally in the shop and starting the process. The car is blown apart and the glass is out. Small parts will hopefully be stripped this week and the body shortly after.

The Bad News: It came with pictures. Kind of an odd spot to find rust. Not sure yet if this means replacing the Cowl Panel and Dash or what. It's going to be $$ that's for sure. Like everyone else, I had hopes that I'd get lucky with a rust free car.

Oddly enough...I have never seen this before. LMAO

Greg...I'll be happy when she's just working full time again. Anything to get her out of the house.

It's not bad. Still...when you're all sleepy eyed, just waking up and sipping your morning cup of coffee, pictures like this get your attention pretty quick.

Finally a little progress on the car and it looks like things will move forward steadily from here on out. Yeah right....

We just got the car back from the stripper. So much for a repaint. Like everyone else that's done this, I had hope that the body would be fairly solid and I was happy to see that the floors and trunk pan looked good. HOWEVER....there's some rust in some strange places and the drip rails are trashed. It can all be fixed with just a little more $$....right!

Probably not going to work as advertised.

The roof is pitted pretty bad. Thinking is that a blanket or something was stored on top of the car.
