With the rear bumper in place I was able to finish the turndowns for exhaust. Excuse the rusty looking panels! How embarrassing I guess I should have did a little scotchbrite work before the photo session!

Thanks Dave!

Made some more progress this past week. I was able to get the radiator hoses done. Did them in hard stainless. It's a double pass radiator so both inlet & outlet are on the driver side. The rubber ends will be shortend up quite a bit. Just need to make a trip over to Alex @ Big Head Motorsports to be welded up. I'll be welding some tabs to attach the lower hose to the bar in front front of it. I also still need to cut off the original style core support mount. This was the last of fab work before teardown.

Saturday was a big day....Separated after 10 years of being together! My sons who are 9 & 7 were like "Dad I thought you were getting closer to being done. Why are you taking apart?" I had to tell them - believe it or not we are going in the right direction..... I enjoy seeing this thing outside and seeing the stance. This is final ride height and fully functional with out bags.

Before

After....

Now it's time for the dirty work. I've been doing all of the fab work from the top for the most part, So now it's time to do all of the finish work underneath. Lots of cutting, grinding & welding ahead in my future! Now that it's apart I will also be doing all of the plumbing for brakes, fuel etc. Once done it will go back together for one final time for final body work.
