Completely true. It's their car/their money, and they can do whatever they wish. But having these things running around on public streets, with those gigantic wheels putting the stresses on the suspensions/brakes and the wheels itself, failure of any of these components can be bad. I've seen an aftermath of one of these gigantic wheels on a Tahoe broke off at the wheel hub, after taking a turn on an off ramp. Good thing no one got hurt in that incident.
