Default New Member - Another NON-Camaro Project!

Hello All! My name is Chad, and I am fixing to embark on Project GT Wagon. Its a '66 Nova Wagon, that I picked up a couple of months ago.

This will be my 1st "muscle car" project, as I have spent the last several years in the old-school VW industry. With a recent move and new employment in a more traditional V8 chassis shop, I figured it was time to start a more traditional muscle car project!

Why a wagon? Why not? Wagons are getting more and more popular, plus they allow you to take more goodies with you when you go on road trips, right? My plans for this project are more "GT" than "PT", meaning I want to be built more for back hills and power tour-style driving rather than track-day, slalom, and skid-pad driving.

I'm working on a Photoshop rendering, but until then, check out the link in my signature for more pics!

Thanks,

Chad

I actually considered doing the 2 door conversion (I've seen some AWESOME examples), but the wife was like "I thought you wanted to do this car so we could take our friends" routine, so I'll (probably) stick with 4.
