Well....... the only other LSx type shops in Texas are:

MTI, Motorsport Technologies in Houston which I would also personally recommend.

Texas Speed and Performance in Wolfforth. Dont know 'eh... but have heard very good things about their work.

Is this going to be a LSX motor?

USA Racing Engines in Houston is who I will be building my motor. They have built a few motors for us and all have performed very well.

I am certainly investigating the LSx engines, but at this point I am looking for both.

Thanks,

FYI: The Banks manifolds will not work on the LSx engines.

You are correct.

When I first wrote the thread, I had not become an admirer of the LSx platform. There have been made so many good post about them that I think my mind has changed.......... for the better.

Thanks,

tyoneal

I am liking them more and more everyday myself. Now if I can just convince the "powers that be" to make manifolds for them.

Jason:

I sincerely hope you are successful. I've ALWAYS had a good experiance with your products.

Perhaps when my car is ready sometime next year, I can be one of your first customers for your "New" product addition.

Keep me posted.

Best Regards,

Ty O'Neal

BTW: Went to speed week a few weeks ago, and I sure saw a lot of, "Banks", stickers out there.

How did you all come out? (I should already know this, but since it was part of a longer road trip, I've been deliquent in my follow up)

I will surely let everyone at lateral-g know once the LSx manifolds are available.

I haven't inquired about any Bonneville outcomes. As far as I know the only car we took was the Stude because they were dynoing the endine a few weeks back.
