I think the 218mph is for the mile then 238 for the 1.5

Memph is correct. Our top speed in the Mile was 218.4 mph. The top speed in the 1.5 was 238.1 mph.

We've still got a few tuning issues to fix so we can make a full 10/10th pass. So, we look forward to hitting a higher number in the future.

That is one hell of a first post. Shrug. Yeah 238mph, we are looking for a higher number. Shrug. It's just 238mph!

Welcome to the forum. It's good to have you here. Great achievement with big red.

The Big Red Machine!

Welcome to our happy little place.

I am curious to know if you will be running the Big Bore Bash again perhaps?

David,
We read through the article and saw that there were some nice comments about Big Red, so we decided to join the site and chime in.

The 238 mph was nice, since it was 4 mph faster than our previous record, but with some of the tuning gremlins...we weren't able to make a full pass. But you're correct. 238 MPH is a great achievement for a brick in the shape of a '69 Camaro! The car was running and all in one piece at the end of the event, so that's a WIN!

We're glad to join a supportive group of enthusiasts.
