David - for the Delorean - they sell brand new turn key ones - with different motors/etc.

I think I would rather have a Bricklin SV-1 at this point, to be honest.

PS. For anyone who may not know what the SV-1 is, it's a fiberglass body with colored acrylic skin, based on the AMC Hornet chassis, powered by a 351 Windsor motor. They look like the Delorean, gullwing doors and all, but the Bricklin is front engine/RWD.

That's a simple one. In order for it to happen SLP needed to make 50 cars and there wasn't enough demand. So he stepped up and ordered all 50 so they could be made and has slowly sold them off over the last 4 or 5 years.

Oh, I guess that makes me the @sshole. Dude isn't a selfish dick at all. I both stand corrected and apologize.

lol - not a problem David. He truly is a car guy and he is also the behind the scene guy at Trans AM Depot and it was his goal to continue the TA cars and he's done a great job helping them out.

This is his LS7 Twin Turbo Car that he brought to Sema in 2010

I might be the boner now - I can't stand those body kitted C5/C6s making them look like a 63 Stingray - or the Camaro to Pontiac conversion...

I'm all about modifying/cutting things up - hell look at ALL of my cars - I just do not like the conversions that I mentioned. They look like a cheap plastic bodykit that Pontiac would have developed in the 90s...

What Pontiac is that camaro pretending to be? It doesn't look like any Pontiac, it just looks like an ugly camaro. My opinion, for what it's worth.

The side skirts do not flow with, compliment, or even line up correctly with the hard lines of the camaro. The side vents look like those cheap wal*mart stick-on "vents" ricers put on their hon-duhs. The scoops in the hood are not far enough forward to have any ram-air effect on the air filter, so it's only cramming air into the engine bay, which is bad. The grill looks like exactly what it is, a half-@ssed attempt at making a camaro look almost similar to, what? ... the judge? Fail.

When they built the car in 2010 there wasn't much available for the 5th gens. Now there is plenty and they have cleaned up the look considerably.

I still love the look of the 5th gen camaro, vette and the g8 and regret not buying a g8 as I love the look of the car.

You regret not buying a G8? Don't worry, there's still time. They aren't extinct just yet.
