Go put a long wrench on that crank snout and turn it over once in a while.
Just messin..

Yeah it's not a bad idea. But what's another couple months when it's been sitting for oh, coming up on 2 years... sigh.

Dave,
You sure you gonna have enough power there? Jk Have you driven anything that radical, I can't quite remember the horse power numbers on your other cars. It's going to be a tough one to get all that power planted.

It'll do! There's a lot of power left in it if I want to get more radical with the cam actually. That's for later. Maybe.

While this will undoubtedly be a handful, it's not my first big power car. My previous Camaro with the procharged SBC that Jody built was around 750-800 crank hp (even though I didn't get to put much mileage on it before selling it). But I did daily drive a 700+ hp twin turbo Porsche for 2 years. It's a different car of course but power is power and you do get used to it and comfortable with it.

It's all relative.... I got bored pretty quick with the first motor in this car (550ish hp) and knew I would need more for my own satisfaction. To some people 450-500 hp is a ton. And that's not a bad thing.

And then there's people like SW.. where 800 hp feels like Weld's Miata.

Default Torque

I completely agree with Flash68, it's all what your used to, but I have to say that I've now had my 69 on the road now for a few days and there's no way in hell I'd want more power then this ... It's an absolute monster but I've got it just right for 'me', in the wrong hands though this kind of power can get very dangerous very quickly

Cheers
Steve

That's gotta be a blast to drive ^^

But report back in a year or so on that power level.

Default Badmotofinger

They always say there is never too much power
I rode Cr 500's back when they were not detuned
unbelievable machines

Pantera has 600 ...bird has 750... after driving
the Bird I often wish the Pantera had more

Ran against a 750hp Pantera on the track several
times and how he could pull me down the straights
was like nitrous

I vote more Power

Bob
