It should do wonders. I have not tracked the car yet. Charlotte on the big oval should be a huge test.

Cool tip Brian.

I've been thinking a lot about hood vents lately but hadn't researched add on manufactures like these. I like that they are local too.

Ron,

This was the first production of this size. It should work on any 2nd gen Camaro. We made mine to match the angle of my stripe on the sides and nose.

Brian

Hello Mr. Hobaugh,

I've found a photo of this car on a quick search on the net, followed the link to the "HeelToeDriving" article and from there to this great thread here. I'm completely blown away by this build. An absolutely amazing work!

The car is basically perfect except for two things. The second set of wheels you've chosen are absolutely fugly. Infact they actually aren't but they simply don't suite the car as much as the satin black ones. Then there is the new hood with the vent. I know there are simple functional reasons for it but the old, slightly raised one suited the car much better. But that's just my personal opinion and taste. Infact you could have painted it pink and it would still be awesome.

Just as a sidenote. I've also found the video about your families '65 Sting Ray and want to mention that this one is a stunning car, too.

Good luck to you and your whole family. Keep up this great spirit!
