Default Currie/Speedtech Ford 9" Bearing Plates

I have a Ford 9" setup from Speedtech with Torino Bearing ends.

They shipped with these style bearing plates:

However the bearings on the axle do not seat completely flush with the axle housing so there is a space between the bearing plate and the face of the housing. Is there a better solution to this? Seems like there should be some type of spacer between the bearing place and the housing. I measured everything out and I am bottoming out the axles.

The bearings are already pressed on the axle. If someone can link me to what they are using that would be very helpful. I should also mention that I do not currently have my rear brakes installed. So it may be that the spacing will be taken up by the parking brake assembly?

Thanks guys!
